Memes are practically all over the internet and have been a huge impact on our society today. Regardless what social media site you may be logged onto, the chances of you seeing a meme are very likely. Memes are very interesting in the fact I’d almost consider it an art. Generally a meme is a picture in which is then captioned to tell a quick story in reference of a joke.

Some memes may be have long or short captions but what  makes memes most interesting I believe, would be that the meme possibilities are absolutely limited to your own imagination. What I believe has made memes so popular is how people tend to make them related to real life situations which makes it relevant to a majority of society, therefore influencing many others to search and possibly create memes of their own. I personally am not big on social media nor am I on memes, although once in a while I find them to give me a good laugh. some memes I have discovered that has caught my interest would be memes relative to sports mainly because I am a big sports person and tend to typically relate to those more than any other memes.

When creating my meme above, I figured it would be best to relate it to myself in the best way possible which I have already stated is sports. Being a collegiate athlete my coach tends to give more advice and prefers that I be on a healthier diet than usual, not necessarily any diet specifically but mainly suggests I cut out junk. Dieting isn’t always the easiest thing to do in the world for anyone and we all sometimes fall short of our tasks to reach our goal and within this meme it portrays exactly that message, in which more than just athletes can relate to this situation. The site I had made my meme on was makeameme.org and was an original idea. What I believe to be the main audience of this meme would be is anyone who is currently or was previously either dieting or just simply trying to eat healthier in order to perform their best in their sport.

Dieting can be a very difficult and dreaded task although some of us find it necessary in order to perform for us athletes to perform well in our sports or even just to live a healthier lifestyle. I have found it to be very beneficial personally. When I put the effort in to eat healthier I find that I feel more energized and therefore, I feel mentally a whole lot better. I have shared this meme on my instagram page @michaeljasoxc in hopes to relate with others in the tragic task of dieting. Cheating on your diet once in a while may not be that bad for you, especially because we all just need to treat ourselves at times but hopefully this post will give that little boost of encouragement to other people who are dieting to stay strong and commit because theres no better feeling than the results you have worked very hard for.
